The Sky TunnelTM is designed to convey light into the building with greater efficiency, security and ease than a conventional skylight design.
Our latest model, the XL2, is available in 3 sizes. This size is a TRUE light area dimension, and is not reduced by a ceiling trim, like most other skylights in the market, where a 14" unit only provides 13" of daylight. Our 3 sizes are:
- 343mm / 13.5"
- 457mm / 18"
- 535mm / 21"
The specially designed dome is made from high-impact, UV-stabilised acrylic. For certain markets such as the UK, and certain areas of the USA, a Polycarbonate Dome is required. We use Lexan SLX , the highest grade polycarbonate on the market.
The dome collects light from the roof and conducts it to the reflective tube.
Offering two types of tubing;
The tube leads in turn to the acrylic diffuser, which allows the light into the room below.
Sky TunnelTM is simple to fit into existing buildings - especially those with large roof spaces – and do not need to be drawn into the design.
